We are extending our call for nominations until March 17! We have seven open positions this spring, providing ample opportunity for YOU to get involved with the organization and join us in serving the mathematics teachers of Colorado. Current efforts of the Board are focused on increasing the value of membership, growing the Colorado mathematics community, and providing high-quality, accessible professional learning for educators across the state.
Nominations are open now through March 17, 2020 for the positions listed below. Consider nominating a colleague or yourself by clicking here. Check back at www.cctmath.org in late March when candidate information will be posted, and be sure to vote when your ballot comes in April.
President (4-year term: 1 year President-Elect, 2 years President, 1 year Past-President)
Set and drive the vision for CCTM
Must have previously/currently serve on the CCTM Board of Directors
Vice-President (2-year term)
Support the President and the work of the organization
Play a leadership role in planning and executing CCTM events
Secretary (2-year term)
Support the work of the organization
Keep and communicate written records of the work of CCTM
NCTM Representative (3-year term)
Support the work of the organization
Serve as a liaison between CCTM and NCTM, including affiliate paperwork and duties
Region Representatives – 3 openings (3-year term)
Serve as a liaison between the CCTM board and the membership of the region
Region representative must either live or work in the region they represent
Regions open for election:
Region 1: Denver, Littleton, Sheridan, Englewood, and Mapleton Public Schools
Region 4: St. Vrain Valley, Brighton 27J, and districts in the northeast counties of Larimer, Weld, Morgan, Logan, Sedgwick, Phillips, Yuma, and Washington
Region 7: Districts in Douglas, El Paso, Elbert, and Teller counties
