Thursday@CCTM: What to Expect

Whether you arrive for Captiv8 via a personal vehicle, the RTD Light Rail, a hotel shuttle, or another mode of transportation, we hope you will be captivated by the beauty of the University of Denver campus. Classes will be in session, so enjoy the opportunity to add your learning to all the other learning that will be going on around you. If you're driving, you'll probably be exiting from I-25 onto University. From there, it's a short distance until you can take a right onto Asbury Avenue where Parking Lot L will appear on your left. For maps, see our conference information page.

The north entrance to Driscoll Student Center North.

Once you're on campus, you need to make your way to Driscoll Student Center North. (Don't go to Driscoll Student Center South, which is south of Evans Ave.) From Parking Lot L, you'll head southwest and cross the Campus Green (a big courtyard) to get to Driscoll. From the light rail station, you'll walk south along High Street until you can take a left on Asbury to the same Campus Green. Driscoll Student Center North is at the southwest corner of the Campus Green, and the picture above shows the doors you'll enter. Once inside, go up one flight of stairs or use the elevator to the Driscoll Gallery where you'll find our Thursday workshops.

Registration begins at 12:00 pm in the 2nd floor hallway outside the Gallery. Your afternoon will be filled with rich information and dialogue focused around student engagement and motivation. Afterwards, please join us for our awards reception at 6:30 in the commons of nearby Ruffatto Hall, home of DU's Morgridge College of Education. Join us for hors d'oeuvres, beverages, and festivities as we honor our many recipients.

We can't wait to see you there!
