Cathy Martin to receive CCTM’s Forest Fisch Award

The Colorado Council of Teachers of Mathematics is honored to present Dr. Cathy Martin the Forest Fisch Award. This award recognizes a Colorado mathematics leader who has made significant contributions to the community over the course of their career. Cathy has touched the lives of many, both personally and professionally, through her many years of dedication and hard work both within Denver Public Schools and across the state. Cathy has served in a number of roles for CCTM, including president, and has also served on the NCTM Board of Directors.

In addition to honoring Cathy Martin, CCTM will be recognizing our two 2019 PAEMST state finalists as well as CCTM Teaching and Leadership Award winners.

  • PAEMST: Linda Cochran (St. Vrain) and Natalie Sprigg (Douglas County)

  • CCTM Teaching Awards: Shelly Barnes, Sabrina Gonzales, Rachael Narcisi, Catherine Martin, and Delia Yunnen McLaughlin

  • CCTM Leadership Awards: Linda Donaldson and Brock Strickland
