Do you know a great mathematics teacher or leader? CCTM is currently accepting nominations for its 2020 Mathematics Teaching Awards and Mathematics Leadership Awards.
Awardees will be recognized at the 2020 CCTM Fall Workshop with a plaque, CCTM membership, complimentary workshop registration, and a $200 award.
Nominations must be received by February 29, 2020. For all the details and nomination criteria, as well as links to the nomination forms, see the Grants and Awards page.
The 2019 CCTM Annual Conference begins today! Here are a few tips for getting to the conference.
(See map) The preferred way of getting to the University of Denver is to take the light rail or an RTD bus. DU is served by the E, F, and H lines. If you drive and take I-25, exit onto University Avenue and head south. Event parking is available on campus for $10 (cash only!) on Monday and Tuesday in Parking Lot L. Be prepared: the university is doing some construction near the entrance of the parking garage, so watch for signs and flaggers directing you safely into the parking structure.
(See map) All sessions this year are in Sturm Hall, which is located on the west side of the Campus Green. Look for CCTM signs directing you towards the building.

The Colorado Council of Teachers of Mathematics is honored to present Dr. Cathy Martin the Forest Fisch Award. This award recognizes a Colorado mathematics leader who has made significant contributions to the community over the course of their career. Cathy has touched the lives of many, both personally and professionally, through her many years of dedication and hard work both within Denver Public Schools and across the state. Cathy has served in a number of roles for CCTM, including president, and has also served on the NCTM Board of Directors.
In addition to honoring Cathy Martin, CCTM will be recognizing our two 2019 PAEMST state finalists as well as CCTM Teaching and Leadership Award winners.
